Boy Scout Meeting  Troop 237 January 26, 2012

Treasurer’s Report-Checking account balance $xxx and savings account balance $xxx. Still need to purchase large Igloo cooler.

Activity Chair- Hockey- only 11 responses. We will try one more time for a date.

Court of Honor-food is ordered.  42 people are going so far. We need a response immediately.  We need coffee. Each family is bringing a drink.

Steve is checking on paper supplies.  Mike will prepare his part. He was notified. Decorating committee will arrange decorating.

 Rita’s in March-need to work out details outside of committee meeting.

Winter camp- Feb. 10-12.

Hike on Sunday, January 29, meet 11 am @ Weis at 13^th and Rockland. There will be several cars strategically placed.  Paul and Mark are leading this event.

Rafting trip-June 9^th.  A sign-up sheet will be available next week.  Please check your calendar. 

Advancement Chair-2 life board of reviews are ready for tonight. A review of other scouts ready for advancement was discussed.  

A new review of badges for all scouts was reviewed.

Scoutmaster-OA election is on 2/9 and shopping for camp.  4 scouts are eligible for OA this Spring.  2/10 we will leave for camp.

 Hot dogs, burgers, and kraut will be available on Friday night.

Adult training-nothing

Old business- Soup kitchen will be discussed at a later meeting.  Steve will bring sheet for information to Court of Honor.

New Business- Reading Express activities are being discussed. Dates are being discussed for CPR a tentative date is set for 2/16.

 Next meeting, March 8, 2012 at 7pm.
